Walther ac43 P.38 Semi-Automatic Pistol, #7769a, 9mm cal., 4.9" barrel, blued finish, grooved black plastic grips, dovetailed blade front sight, and fixed rear sight with "U"-notched groove. Includes one blued steel magazine, stamped with an "(eagle)88" (Spreewerk) acceptance mark on the rear spine. Magazine condition is good showing general wear and toning. Pistol is marked "P.38/ac43/7769a" on left side of the slide. Right side is marked with two "(eagle)359" proof marks, and Nazi eagle firing proof. There are additional "(eagle)359" proofs on left side of the frame and barrel. Locking block is stamped with an "(eagle)359" and Nazi eagle firing proof. Matching numbers on the frame, slide, barrel, and locking block. No visible import marks. Condition overall is very good, retaining approx. 80% blue, with wear around the muzzle, edges of the slide, firing pin cover, and grip strap. Grips are very good with light handling marks. Action, hold open, and hammer drop safety operate smoothly. Bore is bright with very good rifling. Est.: $900-$1,200. (C&R/PPT)
